The approach used in this study is an empirical juridical approach through documentation studies and interviews with the staff of the KUA of Somba Opu District. This study employs a field research (qualitative field research) approach, with data obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and a review of relevant documents. This research discusses the implementation of istihsān in the management of waqf assets beyond the provisions set by the wakif at the KUA of Somba Opu District. The results of the study indicate that (1) istihsān provides a reasoning framework that allows waqf management to be carried out more adaptively, particularly in responding to the evolving needs of the community. (2) This study finds that the application of istihsān is inseparable from several constraints. Concerns arise regarding the potential shift from the original intention of the wakif if the flexibility of legal determination is not accompanied by strict supervision standards. Meanwhile, practical obstacles appear in the limited capacity of nazir to understand and interpret considerations of public benefit objectively, as well as the low level of public literacy regarding waqf. (3) Empirical findings at the KUA of Somba Opu District regarding the reality of waqf assets show that the application of istihsān in waqf management has been carried out in accordance with the governance principles recommended by BWI. This practice aligns with the values of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions in understanding istihsan as a method used in the management of waqf assets so that it continues to bring sustainable benefits, and can serve as a reference for students, researchers, and other academics.

Keywords : Istihsan, Waqaf Management, KUA.

2026-02-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2442SHIFTING CULTURAL VALUES IN THE MAULID PROPHET TRADITION IN BONDOWOSO 2026-01-05T07:14:36+00:00Heridiantoheridianto26@gmail.comMuhammad zainal Abidinkangzainalabidin93@gmail.comYusaul Anwaryuzaanwar5@gmail.com
The tradition of the Prophet's Birthday is a religious as well as a cultural expression that is full of social and spiritual values. However, modernization has given rise to a shift in the form of practice, such as food treats that used to be eaten together after Mahallul Qiyam and then closed with prayer, now replacing catering box rice that is taken home, and bherkat containing processed community products turned into matta'an store food. This phenomenon is interesting to study because it shows a shift in the value of togetherness and cultural identity. The research question is how the change in the tradition of the Prophet's Birthday is understood in the framework of local wisdom and its implications for the social, spiritual and cultural values of the community. The novelty of this research lies in the analysis of the Maulid tradition through intellectual reflection based on local wisdom. Previously, studies highlighted more aspects of ritual and history, while the aspect of shape change in the context of modernization was less considered. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive analytical approach through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the change in the Prophet’s Birthday has an impact on three main dimensions. First, social values have been reduced because togetherness and mutual cooperation are decreasing. Second, spiritual values are maintained through prayer, prayer and Mahallul Qiyam, but tend to be individualized so that it has the potential to reduce the collective religious experience. Third, cultural values face homogenization that erodes local identity, as distinctive symbols such as Bherkat are replaced by uniform products from modern stores. This finding leads to a theoretical finding in the form of the concept of Homogenization of Religious Culture, which is when local traditions that were once full of wisdom are now standardized by modern consumption patterns (catering and manufactured products). Local uniqueness is blended into a consumptive culture that emphasizes efficiency rather than meaning.

Keywords : Cultural Shift, Prophet's Birthday Tradition, Bondowoso.
2026-02-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2434MODEL PENGUATAN MATERI FIKIH DENGAN KONSEP SYARAT KECAKAPAN IBADAH AMALIAH (SKIA) DI MI AL AZHAR SENDURO LUMAJANG2025-11-24T11:40:28+00:00Imaniar Mahmudaimaniar90@gmail.comHafidhafidassyarihan@gmail.com
This research is based on the need to improve students' understanding and skills in performing worship in accordance with Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) guidance in a practical and applicable way. These works represent two distinct phases in the development of Qur’anic interpretation— the classical period characterized by reliance on transmitted knowledge (riwāyah), literalism, and pedagogical-sufi traditions, and the modern period marked by rationality, contextual reading, and a humanistic adabī-ijtima‘ī approach. Using a comparative textual analysis, this research examines the historical background of the exegetes, their epistemological sources, interpretative methods, exegetical styles, linguistic and contextual approaches, as well as their interpretations of the same Qur’anic verses. The findings indicate that Turjuman al-Mustafid functioned primarily as an instrument for religious education and doctrinal consolidation among early Malay Muslim communities, whereas Tafsir al-Azhar served as a reformist commentary addressing modern social, moral, and national issues in Indonesia. Both commentaries have significantly shaped Islamic religious practices, educational traditions, and intellectual discourses in the region. The study was conducted using a qualitative literature review method. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction from relevant studies. The findings of the study show that Outcome-Based Education focuses on clear, measurable learning outcomes that are relevant to the needs of society and the world of work. This concept was then combined with the values contained in Surah Luqman verses 12–19, namely the outcomes that Luqman expected from his descendants, namely to be monotheistic, uphold the Sharia, and have good character. Thus, Surah Luqman verses 12–19 became an important foundation in formulating the objectives of Islamic Education in line with the principles of modern Islamic-based education. Therefore, OBE design should not only focus on cognitive aspects but also integrate spiritual, moral, and social dimensions. With the support of Qur'anic values, an OBE-based curriculum is expected to produce graduates who are highly competent, possess Islamic character, and are ready to face the challenges of the global future.

Keywords : Outcome Based Education, Islamic Education, Surah Luqman ayat 12-19
2026-02-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2519DAMPAK PEMILIHAN PRODI TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PAI 2026-01-27T14:53:44+00:00Tina Desrianitinadesriani4@gmail.com Zahriyah Simargolangdrzahriyahs@unp.ac.id
This study aims to determine the reasons why students choose the PAI Study Program, describe
the students' learning motivation after choosing the PAI Study Program and analyze the impact
of study program selection on the learning motivation of PAI BP 24 students. The scope of the study includes the theoretical foundations of constructivism, principles of constructivist learning, and the design of IRE instruction that integrates inquiry and project-based models to develop contextual religious understanding. The study aims to analyze the relevance of constructivist theory in IRE and to formulate a learning design that promotes student engagement, learner autonomy, and the internalization of Islamic values. This research employs a qualitative method using a conceptual-analytical library research approach. Data were collected from relevant academic sources, including books, national and international journal articles, and scholarly documents published within the last ten years. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and descriptive-critical analysis. The findings indicate that constructivist theory positions students as active agents in constructing knowledge through experience, social interaction, and reflection. Inquiry based learning and PjBL are consistent with constructivist principles and effective in IRE instruction, particularly through a thematic tafsir approach. The integration of these approaches enhances deep religious understanding, critical thinking, and the practical application of Islamic values, making constructivist-based IRE a strategic response to contemporary educational challenges.

Keywords : Constructivist Theory, Its Application, Islamic Religious Education, Inquiry-Based Learning,
Project Based Learning (PjBL).italic)
2026-02-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2537MIKROPIGMENTASI SULAM ALIS DAN BIBIR DALAM FIKIH: PRINSIP HAJIZ DAN TAGHYIR KHALQILLAH 2026-01-27T15:51:29+00:00Ria Oktavianiria011100@gmail.comReni Kurniawatikurniawatireni27@gmail.comNur Aidah Fauziahnuraidahfauziah@gmail.comThahir Malokom.thahirmaloko@gmail.comAchmad Musyahidachmad.musyahid@uin-alauddin.ac.id
This study discusses the practice of eyebrow and lip embroidery micropigmentation from the perspective of Islamic Jurisprudence on the principle of hajiz (water barrier) in thaharah and the concept of taghyir khalqillah (change of Allah's Creation). The phenomenon of the increasing use of semi-permanent beauty procedures among Muslim women has raised legal debates because it is often equated with the practice of permanent tattoos which are prohibited in the hadith. This study aims to discuss the legal status of eyebrow and lip embroidery by considering the normative fiqh aspects and dermatological scientific explanations regarding the micropigmentation technique. The research method used is qualitative research with a juridical-normative approach through a literature study of classical and contemporary fiqh literature, fatwas of religious institutions, and related medical studies. The results of the study show that micropigmentation differs substantially from permanent tattoos because the pigment is implanted superficially and is semi-permanent, so it does not always meet the criteria for hajiz which invalidates wudu. One of the methods used in tahsin and tahfidz learning is the Maisura Method, which emphasizes the accuracy of makhraj, the application of tajwid rules, and consistency of reading through structured learning stages. This study aims to analyze the application of the Maisura Method in BQ learning at MI Tarbiyatus Syarifah and to examine the differences in its application based on grade level, student ability groups, and pedagogical challenges faced by teachers. This study uses a descriptive
qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observations and interviews with BQ teachers and students aged 7–11 years. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and its validity was tested through triangulation. The results showed that the Maisura Method was applied systematically through the stages of providing reading examples, imitation, repetition, submission, and continuous correction. The effectiveness of this method varied across grade levels, with lower grade students showing a higher level of acceptance than higher grade students who already had existing reading patterns. Teacher accuracy and consistency were the main determinants of the success of this method in teaching reading.

Keywords : The Maisura Method, Reading the Qur'an, Quality of Reading
2026-02-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2569RESEPSI KULTURAL MASYARAKAT PADANGRATU PADA TRADISI ZIKIR FIDA’(KAJIAN LIVING QUR’AN) 2026-01-27T14:47:24+00:00Erick Bahagyabahagyaerick@gmail.comAhmad Bastari ahmadbastari@radenintan.ac.idBeko Hendrobeko@radenintan.ac.id
This study examines the cultural reception of the Zikir Fida' Tradition by the community of Padangratu, Central Lampung, through the Living Qur’an approach. The main focus of the research is to understand how the community interprets and practices verses of the Qur'an, specifically Q.S. Al-Ahzab (33):41 and Q.S. Ar-Ra'd (13):28, within this ritual. Using qualitative methods such as observation, interviews, and documentary studies. this research analyzes the functions of the tradition based on Robert K. Merton’s Structural Functionalism theory. The results show that zikir Fida' not only serves a manifest function as a means of seeking redemption (fida') from hellfire but also has latent functions as a strengthener of social solidarity, a medium for emotional catharsis, and a reinforcement of spiritual beliefs. This tradition reflects the dialectic between sacred texts and local contexts, where the Qur'an is brought to life through meaningful communal practice. Daily habituation of worship encourages the internalization of religious values, which is reflected in changes in students’ behavior, such as readiness to perform prayers without teacher instruction and increased responsibility in carrying out religious obligations. The success of religious character formation is supported by synergy among the school, teachers, parents, and the availability of adequate and sustainable worship facilities. This research is motivated by the low level of students’ learning motivation, which is caused by the use of less varied instructional models and the lack of integration between learning materials and students’ real-life experiences, resulting in less meaningful learning. Therefore, instructional innovation is needed to enhance students’ learning motivation, namely through the implementation of the CTL model. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving two classes: class X-B as the experimental group and class X-A as the control group at MA Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire that had met validity and reliability requirements, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.650. Data analysis included normality testing, homogeneity testing, and an Independent Samples t-test. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning motivation between the experimental and control groups. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the CTL learning model assisted by instructional videos is able to create more contextual, relevant, and meaningful learning, thereby increasing students’ learning motivation. The implications of this study suggest that the CTL model assisted by instructional videos can be used as an effective alternative instructional strategy in Aqidah Akhlak learning to enhance students’ learning motivation; therefore, this research is important to be conducted.

Keywords : Aqidah Akhlak, CTL, Learning Model, Learning Motivation, Madrasah Aliyah

2026-02-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2611PERAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENDORONG KESETARAAN GENDER TERHADAP PEREMPUAN DI DALAM ORGANISASI KEAGAMAAN IPPNU2026-02-09T01:41:25+00:00Nur Khafidlohnurkhafidloh64@gmail.comAhmad Saefudinahmadsaefudin@unisnu.ac.id
This article examines the role of Islamic Religious Education in building an understanding of gender equality from the perspective of women involved in the Nahdlatul Ulama Female Student Association (IPPNU) religious organization, and identifies IPPNU's contribution to increasing women's participation in religious organizational spaces. The results show that Islamic Religious Education delivered in a contextual and gender-equitable manner plays a role in shaping women's awareness of their rights, roles, and leadership capacity. IPPNU functions as a strategic non-formal educational space in fostering women's self-confidence, active participation, and substantive involvement in decisionmaking within religious
organizations. However, the implementation of gender equality still faces cultural and social challenges. Therefore, strengthening the perspective of gender equality in Islamic Religious Education is crucial to encourage more equitable and sustainable women's
participation in religious organizations.

Keywords : Islamic religious education, gender equality, women's emancipation, religious organizations,
IPPNU.
2026-02-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2606URBAN FARMING AND FOOD SECURITY ETHICS: A STUDY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF PROPHETIC HADITH2026-01-30T16:09:03+00:00Rahmanrahman@uin-suska.ac.idMashurimashuri@uin-suska.ac.idSuardisuardi@uin-suska.ac.idMuhammad Abdi alMaktsurabdialmaktsur@uin-suska.ac.idWasalmiamanahsalmi@gmail.com
Food security has emerged as a critical global issue, particularly in urban areas experiencing rapid population growth, land scarcity, and ecological challenges. Urban farming is increasingly recognized as an innovative and sustainable solution to strengthen food security in cities. However, discussions on urban farming often focus on technical and economic dimensions, while ethical and spiritual perspectives—especially from Islamic teachings—remain underexplored. This study aims to examine food security ethics and urban farming practices from the perspective of the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Using a qualitative library-based research method, this study employs a thematic (maudhu‘i) hadith analysis to identify prophetic traditions related to food production, environmental stewardship, self-sufficiency, moderation, and social responsibility. The findings reveal that the Hadith strongly encourages productive land use, even in limited spaces, emphasizes the moral obligation to ensure food availability, and promotes sustainable interaction with nature. Principles such as avoiding waste (israf), maintaining balance (mizan), fostering communal welfare, and ensuring justice in food distribution are deeply embedded in prophetic teachings. Urban farming, when viewed through this ethical framework, is not merely an agricultural practice but a form of worship (‘ibadah) and social responsibility that aligns with Islamic values. This study contributes to interdisciplinary discourse by integrating Islamic ethical perspectives with contemporary urban food systems and offers a normative foundation for developing faith-based food security policies. The findings are expected to enrich Islamic studies, environmental ethics, and sustainable urban development, particularly in Muslim-majority urban contexts.

Keywords : Islamic Environmental Ethics; Food Security; Urban Farming; Hadith Studies
2026-02-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2448Self Healing dalam Al-Qur’an (Dirâsah Tafsir Tahlili Surat Ad-Duha)2026-01-26T16:58:48+00:00Asif Trisnaniasiftrisnani@unida.gontor.ac.idAlda Rizmardinialdarizmardini13@gmail.comNurul Aspialdarizmardini13@gmail.com
The era of rapid advances in technology and information has had a major impact, one of which is mental health disorders. Recently, mental health issues have been increasingly voiced due to changes in lifestyle, social environment, and technology that require humans to adjust to the various demands of modern life. These problems include many people who experience psychological disorders due to criticism, responses, and bad judgment from others. However, all forms of anxiety can be overcome with self-healing. The purpose of this study is to explore the self-healing method as a self-healing from the disease in the chest and analyze the relevance of the content of Surah Ad-Duha to self-healing. The research method used is a qualitative study method in the form of library research, using an analytical method approach (tahlili) in interpreting the content of self-healing verses in Surah Ad-Duha. The results show that Surah Ad-Duha offers a Qur'anic self-healing model centered on three main mechanisms, namely (1) restoration of divine affection through strengthening the sense of being cared for and not abandoned; (2) reconstruction of the meaning of life through remembrance of blessings, strengthening self-identity, and affirmation that difficulties are always accompanied by ease; and (3) activation of the ethic of devotion through encouragement to give, do good, and live life with spiritual optimism. Thus, Surah Ad-Duha not only provides theological reinforcement, but also offers an integrative self-healing framework that is relevant to contemporary mental health problems.

Keywords: Self-healing, Tafsir Tahlili, surat Ad-Duha, Psychospiritual
2026-02-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2561REINTERPRETASI RASIONAL BARAKAH MELALUI MANIFESTASI KHIDMAH DAN TA’DHIM DALAM PERSPEKTIF TEORI PSIKOLOGI ATTACHMENT2026-01-11T10:47:02+00:00M. This study aims to provide a rational re-interpretation of barakah by examining the mechanisms of khidmah (devotion) and ta’dhim (veneration) through the lens of Psychological Attachment Theory. This research employed a qualitative approach with an interdisciplinary-hermeneutic method, synthesizing classical Islamic literature with modern attachment psychology. The findings revealed that barakah can be psychologically redefined as a state of psychological well-being resulting from emotional regulation. Khidmah functions as a channel for proximity seeking that builds mastery experience, while ta’dhim constructs the teacher as a secure base and a safe haven. The synergy between khidmah and ta’dhim forms a secure attachment that empirically enhances students' mental resilience, self-efficacy, and productivity. This study provides an academic justification that traditional pesantren practices have a valid rational basis within the global discourse of mental health psychology.

Keywords : Barakah, Khidmah, Ta’dhim, Attachment Theory, Psychological Well-being
2026-02-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Qolamuna : Jurnal Studi Islamhttps://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2612MANAJEMEN KURIKULUM BERBASIS CINTA: IKHTIAR MEMBANGUN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM YANG HUMANIS DAN TRANSFORMATIF 2026-02-09T04:09:57+00:00Siti Aisyahaisyahlady1512@gmail.comZainalzainalle84@gmail.com
Curriculum management in Islamic education has long been dominated by an administrative–technocratic approach that emphasizes compliance with standards, program effectiveness, and cognitive achievement. Such an orientation tends to marginalize affective and relational dimensions, including values of compassion and care, which are central to the educational process in Islam. Philosophically, Islamic education aims to cultivate the whole person (insan kamil) through a comprehensive process of humanization. Previous studies have largely examined curriculum management from the perspectives of educational quality, religious moderation, or twenty-first-century competencies, yet they have not explicitly positioned love as an institutionalized managerial paradigm within curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. This condition indicates a research gap regarding the integration of love as an ethical and pedagogical foundation in Islamic curriculum management. This study offers a novel conceptualization of LoveBased. Curriculum Management, which frames love (mahabbah and rahmah) not merely as an individual emotional value, but as a guiding managerial principle that shapes curriculum policy, educational relationships, and the orientation of educational goals. The urgency of this research is further reinforced by the contemporary crisis of empathy, the increasing prevalence of symbolic violence in educational practices, and the growing demand for Islamic education capable of transforming learners’ intellectual, moral, and social consciousness. Employing a qualitative approach through a literature review, this study examines works on Islamic educational management, Paulo Freire’s humanistic pedagogy, and the educational thought of classical Muslim scholars such as Al-Ghazali and Ibn Miskawaih, particularly their emphasis on ethics and compassion in education. The findings indicate that love-based curriculum management is able to reorient education from a mere transfer of knowledge toward character formation, strengthen dialogical relationships between educators and learners, and foster the transformation of Islamic education into a more just, inclusive, and meaningful system.

Keywords: curriculum management, Islamic education, love, humanism, educational transformation.
2026-02-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://www.ejournal.stismu.ac.id/index.php/qolamuna/article/view/2637IMPLEMENTASI PERDA KOTA MEDAN NO 10/2021 TERHADAP PEDAGANG ASONGAN DAN PENGELAP MOBIL PERSFEKTIF SOSIOLOGI HUKUM DAN SIYASAH DUSTURIYAH2026-02-15T15:07:06+00:00Vina Fadila Putrivina0203212116@uinsu.ac.idZulkifli Naszulkiflinas@uinsu.ac.id
Medan City Regulation Number 10 of 2021 concerning Public Order and Peace is an effort by the local government to regulate public spaces, particularly regarding the activities of street vendors and car washers.
