The changing times marked by the digital revolution, the development of artificial intelligence, cultural globalization, and rapid social transformation have presented new challenges for Islamic education. Islamic education is no longer sufficient to merely instill ritual skills and normative religious knowledge; it is also required to shape a generation that is faithful, critical, adaptive, and creative, and capable of facing dynamic social change. This article discusses the challenges of Islamic education in the era of disruption and strategies for developing a Muslim generation capable of maintaining its spiritual identity while remaining competitive in the modern world. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method through an analysis of various theories of Islamic education, educational modernization, and the development of digital technology. The results indicate that Islamic education must transform its curriculum and learning methods, strengthen digital literacy, integrate spiritual values with science and technology, and foster moderate and humanistic character. Adaptive Islamic education will produce a generation that is not only intellectually superior but also morally and spiritually strong.
