Mafatiha: Jurnal Studi Islam is published in collaboration with Institut Agama Islam Miftahul Ulum Lumajang and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Institut Agama Islam Miftahul Ulum Lumajang. Mafatiha: Jurnal Studi Islam focuses on Islamic studies, with a scope covering Islamic perspectives across various fields, including education, economics, Shariah, and other multidisciplinary Islamic topics.

The journal is published bi-annually in June and December. The editorial board invites academics, lecturers, and researchers to contribute their work. The journal accepts submissions in both Indonesian and English. This is an open-access journal, meaning all content is freely available without charge to individual users or institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles for lawful purposes without seeking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
