Abstract

Abstract

This article examines the dimensions of the ontology of Islamic education and its implications for the quality of madrasas in Indonesia. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive research in this study aims to explain the nature of the ontology of Islamic education. The source is taken from scientific books that have been used as references. While the data collection technique in this research is a literature study. The discussion in the ontology of Islamic education includes the basic concepts of Islamic education, sources of Islamic education, goals of Islamic education, the concept of educators and students in Islam, methods of Islamic education, and the environment in Islamic education.
